Seriously, you carry your weight so well. Freak ;)
I want your scale. Mine is so crappy and I hate it with all my little heart and soul. I'm just to cheap to buy a new one :P Of course there's also the fear that a new scale would tell me I weigh more than I think I do... yikes!
Once, I weighed myself at my grandma's house and her scale said I weighed 229 lbs. Then I stepped on it again (I sometimes weigh myself 3 times in a row, it's an OCD thing) and it said I weighed 174 lbs. That was pretty much my best day ever (I was somewhere at 270 for realz)
I just weighed myself after reading this. Now I want to calculate my BMI. You're a pretty good motivation!
Side note, the stupid WIC people weighed me on Tuesday with my heavy coat on. I had told them what my pre-pregnancy weight was, and they told me, with obvious disapproval, that I had gained six pounds already. Well, my weight today is only two pounds heavier, and I blame Easter candy.
Bethany- I just wanted to tell you how brave this is. Honestly, I started my weight loss blog, and didn't think it was for anyone but me, and to have a place to rant and rave about how much I hate dieting. (Cause I do. STILL do, in fact, but it's worth it.) What has happened is I have found that there isn't a woman out there who doesn't feel the way I do- in some way or another. A blog is the perfect tool to gathering support and keeping you accountable to your goals. So keep at it. The first week is always hard (and you know that already) but stick with it. It will reward you more than you know!!! I can't wait to read about your journey! BIG HUGS!
Hi! I'm Bethany. I'm just starting on my weight-loss journey.
Here's my brief weight synopsis. At my best I was 145 in high school. I'm 5'7", so that was pretty good. I have fat legs, and always will, so I thought I was overweight then. Silly me! I wore a size small top and a 8/10 pants. My heaviest was 260 at the end of a pregnancy. Whew! That's a big difference. If you're curious, you can read how I got fat at this post. Right now I'm at 240 and so excited to lose this darn weight!
